R&D SW Design Engineer (Linux Kernel Platform Development for TD-LTE)
Responsibilities:
- Design a high-performance adaptive layer on top of Linux kernel. Make application program written on non-Linux environment run transparently without porting.
- Debug and pin-point performance bottleneck and memory issues together with application program. Do code optimization accordingly.
- Possible optimization to Linux kernel for performance needs.
Requirements:
- Minimal 3 year work experience in Linux C programming and debugging, include debug skills of kernel functions.
- Expert knowledge of RTOS, especially work knowledge of Linux kernel's SCI(system call interface) and MM(memery manage), PMproject manage), DD(device driver) functions. Real-time performance tuning skills also required.
- Good at compiler, build environment and shell scripting.
- Knowledge of Radio Access Network such as LTE, WCDMA. Knowledge in digital HW is a plus.
- Have strong sense of responsibility and result driven. Can pick up new area fast, be adaptive and work independently in a challenging area.
- Excellent teamwork skill. Work proactively in a fast-pacing project.
- Strong desire to learn/develop new skills and eager to share with others.
- Fluent in English both verbally and in writing.
